Physical Education

The Elkhart High School West Physical Education Department offers required and elective classes for students in grades 9-12.  Classes afford students the opportunity to experience a variety of fitness techniques, sports and recreational activities, that promote health, wellness and lifetime fitness. In the Physical Education Department, we are committed to helping students understand the value of lifetime wellness. Our staff is focused on teaching students to set healthy fitness goals and on giving them the skills needed for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Challenging and fun elective courses allow students to explore a higher level of performance skills, strategies, and job related certifications.
