The World Language Department offers a variety of language including French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Latin.  Dual credit is offered in both Spanish and French at the 3rd and 4th year levels. French, German, Japanese, and Spanish students have an opportunity to study abroad for 6 weeks through the IU Honors program.  Our German program offers students a trip to Germany every 2 to 3 years in July.  Japanese students are able to participate in the Japanese Olympiad of Indiana, a field trip to Illinois every other year, and a two-week exchange program beginning in 2017.
