Our elementary high ability program includes self-contained instruction in grades 2 through 6 as well as cluster groupings in the student’s home school. At the secondary level, we offer more than 35 Advanced Placement, Honors and Dual Credit courses. Our wide variety of language courses includes Spanish, German, French, Latin, Chinese, and Japanese. Our diverse student population mirrors “the real world” Our band, orchestra, and choir programs consistently receive state recognition. Our art program is extensive, offering everything from ceramics to photography to digital media to painting and drawing. Our competitive athletic programs offer more than 20 sports to choose from at the high school level, 10 at the middle school level, and 9 at the elementary level where “everyone” plays.

Our robotics programs for elementary and high school students continue to expand. Elkhart now has robotics teams at every school. Our high school team placed in the top 10 out of 42 teams competing at the 2011 FIRST Robotics Competition at Purdue University.

After-school programming such as the 21st Century Learning Centers offer students a wide variety of educational opportunities from homework assistance to career exploration to development of personal interests. 

Our highly qualified teaching staff includes three finalists for Indiana Teacher of the Year.

Our partnership with ETHOS provides master level science instruction to our teachers and students.

Freshmen Academies provide a smooth transition between middle school and high school.

Our award-winning CARES program brings in more than 1,000 volunteers each week to tutor and mentor students during the school day.

Innovative school-wide programs like Positive Behavior Support and the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program promote peer conflict resolution and good citizenship.

Ample means of involvement for parents are available at the building level through participation on School Improvement Teams, Parent Teacher Associations and other volunteer organizations.

Our online student management system allows parents to access their children's current grades, attendance, homework assignments and discipline records.
