Technology

The mission of the district's technology program is to provide the tools, resources, and support necessary to facilitate the achievement of student, school, and district goals. Essential qualities of the program that will contribute to its long-term success are future vision, leadership, collaboration, capacity building, and sustainability.

Technology will be used to improve student achievement, to build partnerships, to develop leaders, and to provide opportunities for instructional innovation. As technology proficiency becomes increasingly necessary for citizens to function in today's society, so too do students, teachers, and administrators appropriately rely upon technology to function in today's schools.  |

Is it a Virus or a Hoax?
So you got this serious e-mail describing some dire thing that will befall you if you don't send it on to all your friends.  Do your friends a favor and read this article.  It'll only take a minute.

Remember: NEVER respond to e-mails asking for personal information, passwords, credit card info, etc., even if they look like they come from tech staff, or your bank, or whatever.  Your school district tech staff would never ask you for this information, nor would your bank or your credit card company.  Be smart.  Protect your identity.
